TAKE A WALK WITH ME

TAKE A WALK WITH ME – COACHING CALL

Sometimes we all need help and a little guidance to give us peace of mind for the plan we have ahead.

Also we know that the best ideas always come to mind when we are not sitting behind a desk!

It is my job to ensure you and your family have the tools that you require to begin your outdoor language journey, not only to get started but to stay motivated and on track.

How many times have you heard someone talking about a fabulous idea they had whilst in the shower, working in the garden or on a walk?

Take a walk with me is a coaching call combined with a walk in the forest, around your garden or just a stroll down the street, where we can talk and discuss your families language learning adventure.

I absolutely love seeing parents eyes light up as they start to learn a new language with their children, and see how their language learning adventures start. Also how they begin to smile and relax when they realise this ‘language learning thing’ is not going to be so bad after all!!

It is my job to ensure you and your family have the tools that you require to begin your outdoor language journey, not only to get started but to stay motivated and on track.

This one hour coaching session aims to help families not just to ensure your goals are manageable ,but your “Why, what, how and when” are clear so that you succeed from the beginning.

This is what to expect when you book a ‘Walk with me’:

  • Pre-conversation questionnaire so I can get to know you and your language wants and needs a little better before our call

  • 1hr Zoom / Skype video call (when it’s convenient for you)

  • Follow up email

I am looking forward to helping you start and strengthen your outdoor language learning journey and give you the confidence you need to keep going, whilst taing a walk together.

Emily asked me yesterday why we and other children her age no longer make lanterns for Saint Martin. And I had no answer, so here we are this afternoon and evening making and going walking with our lanterns.

As the leaves are now golden and the days are shorter, autumn gives us a wonderful opportunity to slow down and reflect.
For us it’s a season of observation — and that makes it the perfect time to begin (or re-start) your Language Learning Notebook.

For children learning English as a foreign language, a notebook isn’t just a workbook, it’s a space for creativity, discovery, and connection with language. And you know I love the Inspiration from outdoors.

My Autumn Word Tree 🌳 is a fabulous way to focus on Vocabulary and Spelling.

Draw a big tree and write new English words on each branch or leaf. Add small pictures or nature stickers to make it more decorative.

The new blog is coming and there will be several Notebook pages for you to either print or design yourself.
